Brave Hanuman Activity Book

Brave Hanuman: The Devotee of Ram introduces one of Hinduism’s most loved figures to young readers through story, colour and play. It opens with Who is Hanuman, a set of quick facts every child can remember: son of Vayu, born on Hanuman Jayanti, known as Bajrang Bali, and the greatest devotee of Lord Ram.

From there, the pack tells The Day Hanuman Swallowed the Sun, the story of a small boy who mistook the sun for a piece of fruit and set off one of the most extraordinary chains of events in all of Hindu mythology. Comprehension questions and a true or false section check what your child has learned and remembered.

Hanuman’s Powers introduces his abilities through six superpower cards: flying, growing as big as a mountain, shrinking small, lifting mountains, carrying the sun, and a devotion that never ends. Children then colour Hanuman mid flight carrying the Sanjeevani mountain, find their way through a maze of obstacles in Lanka to reach Lord Ram, search for 16 Hanuman themed words, and trace the sacred mantra Aum Hanumate Namaha alongside the devotional chant Jai Hanuman.

A second colouring page shows Hanuman bowing before Ram and Sita, followed by a sequencing activity putting the key moments of his story in order, and a creative page where children design their own Hanuman flag, the Kesariya Dhwaj. The pack closes with a completion certificate, illustrated with Hanuman doing namaste as Ram and Sita bless him from above.
